Electric welding, gas welding and argon arc welding?

Share us:

Manual arc welding: the method of welding the electrode with the electrode holder;Manual arc welding, referred to as manual arc welding. It USES the steady burning arc established between the electrode and the work to melt the electrode and the workpiece, so as to obtain a strong welding joint.

In the welding process, the coating is continuously decomposed and melted to generate gas and slag, protect the electrode end, arc melting pool and its nearby area, to prevent the oxidation of molten metal, electrode mandrel is also under the action of arc melting, into the melting pool, forming the weld filler metal. There are also electrode coating mixed with alloy powder to improve the mechanical properties of the weld.

Argon arc welding: welding method using industrial tungsten or active tungsten as non-melting electric level and argon (inert gas) as protective gas.Hereinafter referred to as TIG.Argon tungsten arc welding is to use argon as the protection gas, tungsten as the non-melting pole, with the help of tungsten electrode and welding pieces produced by the arc, heating and melting the base material (at the same time add welding wire is also melted) to achieve welding method.Argon gas is used to protect the weld metal and tungsten electrode fusion pool from air oxidation in the arc heating area.

(1) it can weld most metals and alloys except aluminum tin with very low melting point.

(2) ac argon arc welding can weld aluminum and aluminum-magnesium alloys with relatively active chemical properties and easy formation of oxide film.

(3) no welding slag or spatter during welding.

(4) all-directional welding, pulse argon arc welding can reduce heat input, suitable for welding 0.1mm stainless steel

(5) high arc temperature, small heat input, fast speed, small thermal influence surface, small welding deformation.

(6) filler metal and additive amount are not affected by welding current.

Argon arc welding is applicable to welding range

It is suitable for carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, refractory metal aluminum and aluminum-magnesium alloy, copper and copper alloy, titanium and titanium alloy, as well as super thin sheet 0.1mm.

Carbon dioxide shielded welding: metal welding wire as melting electrode, inert gas (CO2) shielded arc welding method.MAG for short.

CO2 arc welding is a high efficiency welding method, with CO2 gas as the protection gas, rely on the arc between the welding wire and welding pieces to melt metal gas welding method called CO2 welding. This welding method USES welding wire automatic wire feed, apply large amount of metal, high production efficiency, quality stability. Therefore, it is widely used at home and abroad. Compared with other arc welding, it has the following characteristics:

1. High production efficiency CO2 arc welding has strong penetration, large penetration depth and high melting rate, so the deposition speed and production efficiency are 3 times higher than manual arc welding.

2. Welding cost low CO2 welding cost is only 40%-50% of the cost of submerged arc welding and manual arc welding.

3. Compared with the butt weld of 3mm thick steel plate, the energy consumption of low-co2 arc welding and coated electrode is 30% lower than that of the butt weld of 3mm thick steel plate, and 60% lower than that of the butt weld of 25mm steel plate.

4, wide range of application regardless of any position can be welded, thin plate can be welded to 1mm, the maximum thickness is almost unlimited (using multi-layer welding). And the welding speed is fast and the deformation is small.

5. Strong rust resistance; low hydrogen content; strong crack resistance;

6. Slag cleaning is not required after welding, and arc starting operation is easy to monitor and control, which is conducive to realize mechanization and automation of welding process
